What we do

This is not symptom management. This is identity-level work.

You don't need someone to tell you that you're successful. You already know that. What brings most of our clients to us is something harder to name: a persistent sense that despite everything they've built, something essential has been left behind. A self that got very good at performing, but stopped knowing what it actually wanted.

Most approaches to stress, anxiety, and burnout ask one question: what symptom needs reducing? They hand you a coping toolkit, designed to get you through the week. Our practice asks a different question: what part of you has been abandoned, and what have you built around that absence?

We don't treat the Adapted Self as the problem to be fixed.

We treat it as a map, pointing back toward the True Self it was once built to protect.

This is integrative psychotherapy: the patient, structural work of understanding how you became who you are, so you can consciously choose who you become next.

The change that lasts: what we treat

Symptoms are not failures. They are brilliant, costly adaptations. Every pattern that brings someone to our practice once served a purpose:

Anxiety

once the vigilance that kept you safe in an unpredictable environment.

Perfectionism

once the only reliable way to earn safety, approval, or love.

Chronic guilt

often the inherited shape of unspoken family expectation.

Career burnout

a body's protest against a self that has performed for too long without being met.

Relational fracture

the quiet erosion of connection when roles replace intimacy.

NRI dislocation

the quiet grief of building a life between two worlds, belonging fully to neither.

We don't simply relieve these adaptations. We help you understand the intelligence behind them, and build a self that no longer needs them.
Our approach

The ReAlign Within Model

The REALIGN Framework, a pathway for identity-level change.

Every client's journey in this practice follows the REALIGN Framework, a structured, evidence-informed therapeutic pathway developed over 30+ years: Recognize, Explore, Accept, Liberate, Identity Realignment, Grow, Navigate. This is not a checklist to move through quickly. It is a therapeutic pathway, paced to what you can safely hold at each stage.

This is for you

Reframe this sentence to start with: "This integrative psychotherapy practice..."

Something chronic, quiet, and harder to name than a single problem. You might recognise yourself in one of these:

The high-achiever's exhaustion

chronic stress and depletion beneath an exterior that looks entirely successful.

A relationship losing its thread

the slow erosion of connection, or a pattern that repeats across every relationship you have.

The pull between duty and desire

navigating the distance between what is expected of you and what you actually want for your own life, including the particular weight carried by those holding family, care, and their own becoming all at once.

Anxiety or low mood that runs deeper

often tangled up with questions of identity, worth, and belonging.

Self-doubt beneath competence

the quiet second-guessing that lives underneath an accomplished, capable exterior.

A life transition that is asking something of you

career, relationship, identity, or an existential shift you did not choose.

NRI dislocation

the grief of building a life between two worlds and belonging fully to neither.

You do not need a crisis, a diagnosis, or certainty to begin. You only need enough curiosity to have one honest conversation. That is what the Discovery Call is for.
